obstructing cerumen the east coast on friday, january mike: i'm ashley webster in for stuart varney and stu will be back on monday. getting to the markets on the second trading day of 2025. much like yesterday, we were in the green and couldn't hang on yesterday and can we today. dow up 250 points and thereabouts and s&p up three quarters and nasdaq leading the way up 1%. take ago look at big tech names if we can. same story as yesterday. we saw this too, nvidia, amazon, alphabet, microsoft all moving higher and nvidia up 3.5% and only one moving down on that group is apple, down a third of a percent. take a look at 10 year treasury yield, we have seen the yield start to move back up. we had some stronger than expected data on manufacturing, the yields up now two basis points and up 4.58%. could it be headed back to that 4.6 level, which of course creates head winds for the stock? we'll keep an eye on that. let's move on. if what we now know about those attacks in new orleanss and las vegas, the half brother of the new other leans attacker said his brother was struggling to find himself
