let's go to the new york stock exchange where lori rothman has been following it every second of the day. lori? >> reporter: hi there, ashley, yes, we are seeing all the asset classes rea act to a doveish fed. -- react to a dove cannish fed. of janet yellen essentially saying she will maintain a cautious pace in raising interest rates and, obviously, that's what stock investors wanted to hear. the dow jones industrials just off the best levels, up 98 points, the s&p and nasdaq also higher, the nasdaq up more than 1.5%. so you've got march finally a winning month. a couple trading sessions left to go, but so far so good. the dow and s&p 500 indexes do remain in positive territory for the yield. mentioned those asset classes, the ten of year down to a 3.82% -- 1.82%, gold up about $18 an ounce, in terms of lagging, equity market sectors, financials, right? they tend to do worse in lower interest rate environments. not much of a profit turn there. energy, oil's down today a couple of bucks, so that's hurting some energy names, and materials are also weaker. back on up to you. ashley: thank you very much. up next, a domestic eg
