there are new developments in the san francisco fire department's investigation into its response of asiana airlines flight 214 last month. officials decided to rescind their reprimand of the chief whose camera captured these pictures. the fire department said the camera violated an order against unauthorized filming. his hearing it was determined the department did not have a specific policy. >>> there was an overwhelming turn out for a free clinic today. ktvu's alex savage tells us a lot of people had to be turned away. >> reporter: patients poured in to o.co coliseum this morning to be treated by one of the hundreds of doctors and dentists volunteering but not everyone made it inside. 3500 people showed up for help. but more than 2500 were turned away. >> we would love to help everybody. that is very heart wrenching. at least we are able to service those that we were able to get in. >> most people came here for dental services. she had a painful tooth taken wear of. >> although it is free, it is awesome. i can't ask for anymore. i have a lot of friends, same situation. work two jobs. >>

say they want to pull up the asiana accident, they could go on the ntsb website and they would find thisl released in the public docket. so they have examples to go by. when they see the rest of the world treated one way and their accident getting treated another, they feel there is something wrong and they're not getting this information. every crash is like this. the families want every detail, every piece of information. and they become powerful allies. and if there is change for safety, they're the ones that can do it. they're actually the ones that can do it. >> arthur, you know, many of these questions about the black boxes, the families want to know the details, as much as they possibly can as mary said. and how will this information help them? >> well, i think these families are trying to make sense of seeming insanity. like the elts, for example, it is very perplexing. there were no elts signals that we know of. there is an elt in front of the plane, sensing the acceleration, in the rear of the plane it is triggered by salt water. all the life preservers have elts, and yet there

as alex told you the national transportation safety board which investigated the asiana crash last july, they are sending a rapid response team to the crash site. this go team will arrive at the scene this morning. we're hoping to hear from them when they hold a news conference at 7:30 this morning. ktvu will obviously have continuing coverage of this story throughout the morning. ktvu tara moriarty is on her way to orland. she will have a live report for you later this morning. >>> new charges are now facing a woman already arrested accused of using fake credit cards at the casino. 33-year-old jonah matthews of walnut creek says she left her three-year-old daughter alone in her car and deputies say in that car were hyper determinic needles filled with what authorities believe to be meth. matthews was booked with felony child endangerment. she was arrested last saturday along with four other people. accused of using fake credit cards. matthews is also the woman at the center of a sex and theft scandal at a prominent north beach church. she was the secretary at the matthew shrine of st.
