ed lee to serve as district 4 representative replacing previous supervisor carmen chu after she was appointed assessorter that same month. before her appointment she served as legislative aide to supervisor chiu. today you'll get to know her and the issues facing the city. welcome, supervisor. thank you for join using us. >> thank you for having me. >> let's start with a little about your background. where you grew up, went to school and what kind of jobs you had in the past. >> sure, i grew up in the sunset district. still live there. spent about 20 years living in the sunset district and just am so proud to be able to represent the district that i grew up in and where my parents still live. i had gone through the public education system and went to neighborhood schools throughout the sunset district. so, had gone to francis scott key elementary school, hoover middle school, lowell high school and am just so proud to be able to come back full circle to support a lot of those schools that i went to and be part of that community in a very integral way. >> so, you spent most of your life in san francisc

right there and i was surprised to see her and carmen chu and one of the best individuals that i have met over the years and now the county assessor and now kevin, madix and you guys here, and who else? kevin, just had an accident and you will see me and i think that it fantastic and all of this staff here and thank you, and of course, captain and i am glad that you have been kept in a year or so, the station. and so i want to say thank you for all of your support. and just a couple more things and i will be quiet. and i would be remiss, to say a few things that obviously you know that 29 years in the military and 10 years after, the vietnam and came back and actually in desert storm and i worked for a bank for 28 years and i did not have vacations and so i got activated and the things that i got overseas and activated for this, but the military has i mentioned last time is very close and dear to my heart and it was well as sfpd and all of my friends and as i mentioned last time, that we very seldom say thank you. we say thank you, and all day we say thank you it the officers and we would, and they would appreciate but now the off
