this was supported by the national governors association and it goes back to 2019 when the nga adoptednciples for national infrastructure. this is not something we just worked on this year but for many years and we are delighted to have success of the passage of that legislation. we worked with the treasury the right and on the details of the american rescue plan funds, pushing for flexibility to the states and the use of those funds because states know what their funds -- needs are to the greatest extent of anyone. we were successful in encouraging the administration to lift pandemic restrictions of cross-border travels, something our governors advocated for. and then the flexibility and use of national guard and making sure that investment can be 100% reimbursed by fema as well. we concentrate on broadband access, cybersecurity and training. these are some of the things we work for as an nga. this convening of the nga, we will be hearing from administration officials working on these specific areas of infrastructure investment. obviously we will be dealing with the pandemic and futur
