at 10:33 a.m. today the oakland police department received a 911 call from 7850 edge water drive regarding a woman on the ground bleeding. patrol units were dispatched at 10:34 a.m. additional calls from the location were received, directed to the oakland police department. they located a victim suffering from an apparent life threatening gunshot wound in an extremely cat ottic scenes. officers were local law enforcement agencies responded and established a perimeter around the location at 7850 edge water drive. the suspect was initially believed to be still on the scene or inside. potential victims remained inside the building either trapped by a locked door which officers were unable to open or unable to evacuate due to injuries. oakland police officers joined by the oakland unified school district police entered to attempt an emergency evacuation, render aid to injured persons as well as to search for any additional sick on the scene. approximately 35 persons are believe believed to have been in
