here we are at 10:00, we're at 70 in antioch. cupertino is at 69 degrees. at noon, headed into 1:00, if you have a late lunch expect it to be 76 degrees in novato and 75 in palo alto. we'll start to see low 80s in the south bay as well as the inland east bay, with some upper 80s in antioch this afternoon, while we see a high of 87 in concord today. it will be a nice one and then cooling down quickly. it won't be as windy as yesterday but still a nice cooldown going in to tonight. and if you're planning to head out to the a's game, first pitch at 7:07, it's going to be nice and sunny, some mid-60s, but then cooling down so have a jacket with you, once the temperatures drop. as we look at what's happening here, the cooldown is on. we've seen high pressure backing off across the desert southwest, and also a storm system approaching to the pacific northwest that's going to bring them some rain. for us, with the winds flowing around that area of low pressure, we have some breezy winds bringing in some of the cool air from the coastal fog but this weekend, the hi

it was at the scene of a nightclub. there were witnesses and we believe -- that we believe were present. if anybody knows anything, please call in to our tip line. our second homicide of the week was all around the 8th of july , right after midnight. this is at the 3200 block of mission and 24th street. twenty-fourth and mission. our officers responded to a spot shutter activation. when they arrived, they saw a vehicle that they believed to be involved and they followed it. at the same time, witnesses in the area called for reports that a person was down at the location down in the street. the officers followed the vehicle and the passenger of the vehicle fired one round from the vehicle at an unknown car. the officer then lost sight of the vehicle right off of the freeway. the victim, a juvenile male, was found deceased at the scene. we did not locate any other victims from the second shooting from the vehicle. this was earlier this morning just around midnight. two victims were located at the location with gunshots. w
