at&t admits it was hacked.doesn't know who did it yet, but we do know the hacker got into at&t through an outside vendor. the fcc investigating. here's what we know right now. first off, hackers were able to get their hands on text and call data from late 2022 to early 2023. about a six month period. the hackers broke into at&t. but it's not just the 110 million at&t customers reportedly affected. those cyber criminals likely have the text and call data on anyone. an at&t customer called or texted, not financial information at this point, but enough. we're told to potentially connect the dots and get closer to more personal data about us. for the criminals, if they have this data and they have data from previous breache, they can just combine this one and have a profile about you. this is your address. this is this is your routine. because you're calling the same number every day. how many times this is who you're texting.
