nbc 10's monique braxton is live for us at city hall., fill us in on the details. >> the five justices of the pennsylvania supreme court are listening to arguments right now before a standing room only crowd. attorney general kathleen kane's attorney is arguing the legality of a special grand jury probe into her actions. so far her attorney says the judge doesn't have the authority to appoint a special prosecutor. our camera captured this video of kane arriving here 10:00 this morning. the arguments center around the appointment of that special prosecutor to review allegations she leaked grand jury material to a local newspaper. the state wide grand jury recommended criminal charges including perjury and obstruction against kane. she does admit she gave material about a phone it a local newspaper but said she was not covered by grand jury secrecy laws. so for now, montgomery county district attorney has been appointed to review the grand jury's proposed charges, but that is on hold until the outcome of today's hearing. some politicians a

correspondence packet regarding the certificate of appropriateness and regarding the traffic signal at city hall. as you recall there were three conditions of approval outlined within the hpc's approval and the mta has issued this letter stating that of the three they will be able to honor the painting of the traffic signal to the dark blue. but the other conditions or recommendations we will not be able to fulfill. certainly if you have this one, to have a broader situation with mta to have a future date forward. they indicated that they agree that working more closely with the department is a good thing and will continue to do that. i was actually had a discussion with some other folks from mta about some additional traffic signals and light poles within the center district this morning. just want to let you know that coordination is already occurring. then the last thing i wanted to just mention to you in this in particular i think is useful for our cultural heritage assets subcommittee. this past weekend i was in washington d.c. at a meeting hosted by the national parks service and they were
