the new england man lost at sea for days plucks from the water. ed: a shoot out in roslindale. the search for suspect in the area on lockdown. >> from boston's these later, this is wcvb newscenter 5 at news in roslindale. police exchanging gunfire with a man there. ed: one person is in custody but the massive search continues. shaun chaiyabhat is live at the scene. shaun: we are learning that this was a state police operation, a were conducting a drawn -- a gun trafficking operation. see from our video team, they went in and we have not seen any of those officers. there were several ambulances that came to the scene and neighbors said they heard multiple gunshots, they say it sounded like a shoot out. the entire area is blocked off. one neighbor's young son just came home from school and was trapped in the house when that shootout happened. he said police were here earlier in the day. there was a lot of activity at the house next door, and then this today. police were shot at from people inside that home. at least one officer might have been struck with a round, the we are told
