at that point we watch how it changes to an icy mix. this model showing it at 6:30.a mix of sleet and freezing rain which is always so difficult to travel in and that's just during the height of your evening commute. so, if there's any way you could commute earlier you would be a lot better off. but watch what happens. you can see the warmer air pull in down to the south and eventually looking at 11 o'clock it all changes over to rain for all of us. and so by that point temperatures rise in the overnight hours. let's take a look at how this works during the day. by 8:00 a.m., 27. little sunshine, lots of clouds. by 11:00 you're pretty cloudy and 30 degrees. by 2:00 p.m. it's 34 degrees. that's your high for the day but then after that, the temperature starts to fall, the snow starts to move n i would say after 3:00. then by 5 o'clock it's snow and then changing over to an icy dangerous mix. let's look at what's ahead after that. we're watching for the potential for a bigger snowfall. we have some new model data that just came in i'm going to show in you a seconds. th

look at temperatures in the city on sunday, just beautiful, 69 degrees at noon, up to 72 degrees at 4:00 p.m. so here we go, getting beyond the weekend, temperatures stay mild for monday, and we bring in the rain that we promised you late tuesday into wednesday, the rain moves back into the picture, and we could be tracking potentially quarter of an inch to half an inch of rainfall, even right here in the south bay looking closer to half an inch, maybe even an inch depending on the track of this storm up in the north bay. i continue that futurecast for you, moving forward in time, thursday at 5:00 p.m., continues to get that shower activity and that looks good to continue into friday at 12:00 as well. all of this is going to race over to tahoe, and durp somp so good rainfall and snowfall at the highest peaks. 7,500 foot snow levels we could talk about 6 to 12 inches of snow. we need it for the drought. obviously our spring months are just around the corner. about two weeks away officially from the kickoff of spring. more on that time change and your spring conditions that will persist
