i'll go with garrett atkins.he youngster on the mound is stuff, two games on the year and not lost. a lot of runs. look at the first seven versus last seven. 1-6 and is 5-1 in his last seven. look at the difference in the earned runs. this guy is tough to go against and is off to a big start. now, i will say both his starts have been against seattle so he has the staple lineup twice but didn't allow a run in either but this guy is a tough left- hander. >> rick: he is and he learned how to control that changeup. naturally, what keeps hitters off balance. he had a good fastball and good breaking ball. you see it right there but the thing that put his game together is being able to use that straight changeup and that has really helped him a lot. fastball late in the count, that's what all the left- handers do against the orioles. they use the awe-speed stuff early and hard stuff late in the zone and get people out. >> jim h: he was 11-11 last year as a rookie and so far 1-0 this year. orioles against the athletics.
