we're keeping our eye to the sky over the atlantic. there's noisy activity popping up over this weekend. it's been a quiet hurricane pattern so far. now we're starting to see things heat up in the tropics. this is tropical storm bit. winds sustained at 63 miles an hour. winds are gusting up to 75 miles an hour. we'll continue to see this probably strengthen overnight tonight becoming an official first hurricane of the season. it's going to continue to track to the west moving at 20, 25 miles an hour. looking at or -- 15 to 20 miles an hour. the track right now increasing it to a category 1 strength. this is the model data. it's going to continue to make a track coming up just missing the dominican republic. we have to watch it, especially folks in bermuda to see if this makes a right turn. we could see this make a turn. we're going to have to watch this closely to see how the storm tracks. that's something to take note of. back at home looking at relatively quiet conditions. we have a few high, thin clouds towards anne arundel county.
