the man approached the woman just off atlantic avenue.ators say he forced her into an alley at knife point. police released this surveillance picture and want to talk to the man seen here in the dark puffy jacket. >>> now to the atlantic city casino crisis. this morning we're looking at revenue numbers from the past year. the new jersey division of gaming enforcement released the figures yesterday. comparing this past november to november 2013 when there were 12 casinos and internet gambling was brand new, the casino market in atlantic city took in 10.3% less revenue. but when only the 8 can ssinos still operateing are considered, revenue increased year over year by 11 1/2%. four casinos have closed and the trump taj mahal could be the fifth. it's set to close one week from today unless a last-minute deal is reached. as for revel casino, a bankruptcy court judge voided2u its proposed sale to a canadian firm. revel wants the court to let the auction's runner-up buy the property. we'll learn more about that in january. >>> california is cop

siegel underwent surgery today atlantic care regional medical center's atlantic city campus.is long time attorney spoke to us this afternoon. >> i spoke to family members. it appears as though he was the unintended victim of the violence. >> reporter: the philadelphia native has a long history of run ins with the law. most recently he moved from federal prison to a halfway house in august after serving a two year tax evasion sentence. he was released to home confinement in september. siegel has been a victim of gun violence in the past after he was shot in the arm in philadelphia in 2006. >> disheartening because he was in the process of putting things back together, getting back into his career into the music industry. >> reporter: and jim, the other big question is who is responsible. well, according to police that second man that they believe was involved in the scuffle was not seriously injured. he is not cooperating with police and at this point siegel has not been able to speak with police because of his condition. for now reporting live from the sat center, annie mccor

we think that the battles of the atlantic in u.s. waters can be that for the first and second world war and they really haven't had sort of the popular attention that i think they ought to. i'm going to talk predominantly on just the set of resource and activities that are in north carolina waters but just to kind of put it in context if you are not familiar with, i'll give you a quick basic background on the world war i u-boat campaign. first of all, it's important to note that in world war i, this is the first major role that u-boats are submarines in general took in any major conflict. of course, the turtle was one of the first submarines used during the revolutionary war with no success. the first successful use of a submarine was the "css emily" off the coast of charleston, south carolina during the civil war. it is interesting to note that the reason the confederacy developed submarine technology was because there was clearly apparent that they couldn't hold up anything against the union navy. they started looking into these ch
