week, another frontal boundary will be dropping down from canada to bring some of the coldest air yet of the season. 66 degrees right now in atlanticity. we're looking at 70 in pottsto pottstown. 76 degrees right now in trenton. high temperature in philadelphia today 76 degrees. take look at temperatures toward sections of dallas it is hot. 93 degrees right now. 80 in new orleans. still kind of hot out ahead of that front. take a look at the colder air this is where it will be coming from 49 degrees right now in the twin cities. and some of that colder air will continue to spill southward approaching our area over the next several days. so tomorrow morning the clouds increase out ahead of that frontal boundary. there could be a spotty shower early tomorrow morning. but the better chance comes toward the afternoon as that main front continues to move through our area from about, say, 3:00 to 7:00 o'clock. watching a thin line a broken line of scattered showers, maybe even a rumble of thunder. but at best we're looking at about a tenth of an inch of rain with that system. then behind it we dry out and turn cooler for your wednesday.

atlantic. good thing that didn't come in on top of this. this is the upper air portion of that storm, the nor'easter, combined with the blocking high in canada that just produced the unbelievable rains in south carolina. 20 to 30 inches of rain in some areas and it's not over. there are bands of heavy rain just offshore they are going to have to monitor this evening. temperatures tonight going down into the 40s in many of the suburbs. nice and cold, but at least it's not windy. in the morning, be fairly calm. with the sunshine, temperatures going to jump up quickly. so by noontime we're almost to 70 already and we'll be in the 70s tomorrow as you can see across most of the area. tomorrow night, we're mostly clear, as well. we really have a pretty nice week overall, especially compared to what we saw late last week. way out in the ocean, in the area that normally hurricanes weakened, joaquin is still hanging on. you can see the eye out there, 85 mile an hour winds moving north/northeast at 12. exceptionally warm ocean water from there all the way down to the bahamas. that helped keep joaquin strong and that didn't help us any. and the remnant

atlantic so it continues to stay out to sea. as far as our weather goes, we are seeing a break from the wind. there's the hurricane but it's high pressure that is centered over eastern canadaessure lines so close together that difference in pressure from the low to the south really not the hurricane so it gave us that persistent northeast wind. over the next 48 hours the low moves off the coast, the hurricane moves out, the high weakens so we have sunshine but we don't see these lines close together. this is by tuesday and here is the relief. this is what we've been waiting for. the wind direction changes and these numbers drop dramatically. so, really no more coastal flooding after monday morning. it will really start to improve throughout the day monday and by tuesday, things are much better. you see that in the seven-day forecast from 60 to 64. it's still cool, still breezy. it gets a little better on monday with a hint of sunshine but there it is on tuesday, a nice break. the pattern finally breaks down. we're back to where we should be as far as temperatures go. mid to low 70's, lows into the 50's. a nice day on wednesday with bright sunshine. cut the lawns. it's wet,
