here is the tropical atlantic. this is the zone where we normally see hurricanes forming this time of year, especially in mid september. this year, due to el nino and perhaps some upper level winds that are stronger than usual for this time of year, we thankfully don't have any tropical systems forming and none in the foreseeable future. if you're traveling today, we may have rain around the midatlantic states, up towards new york city. maybe flight delays in the west coast of florida, gulf coast and up through the tennessee valley as well as oklahoma, down to texas and parts of utah and as well, new mexico and arizona. for us, we've got this area of high pressure that's now moved off the coast. another area of high pressure building from new england pushing this front through us. we have this moist flow to the south and east of us. the front will be pushing to the south as the day progresses. here is the forecast for the bus stop for today. temperatures liming out of the 60s to the 70s. that's not going the happen
