our audrey barnes has been there. she has that story. audrey barnes begins our coverage tonight. >> reporter: bruce, we're outside dc superior court. we're waiting for the arraignment of three people in connection to last night's drive-by. a teenager and 26-year-old nathaniel sims, 20-year-old orlando carter are facing first- degree murder charges in connection with the shooting spree. and all of those crime workers that you saw on the ground there are evidence of a real blood bath. 19 and 20. they just kept putting them out. witnesses say that it was spraying a bullet of the ak-47 assault rifle that caused all of that carnage. when the shooting stopped, four people were dead, including 18-year-old boyd of district heights maryland. relatives rushed to the scene to try to find out if their loved ones were there. and also, to try to find out what happened. now, the five people who were wounded are still hospitalized. we're told that some of them are in critical condition. so the death toll from the city's worst mass shooting in 15 years c
