host: john from augusta, georgia, on the republican line. caller: good morning.estion as i was reading. i heard that on the coast of florida there is nothing servicing them towards the coast. there is the potential of a methane explosion. i heard there are children getting respiratory problems because of the toxic gases flowing inland, rising from the water. that is how we get rain. will the oil evaporate into the air? host: i mentioned earlier -- guest: i mentioned earlier that the epa and others are trying hard and doing a good job of monitoring the air emissions. the crude oil is going to have such -- to some extent, it will have lighter material coming off of it. the question is what the concentration is. i cannot speak to the issue, but it is important to monitor these issues and be sure that the-yes -- the gashes levels do not rise to a dangerous level -- the gaseous levels do not rise to a dangerous level. host: is at the same process to capture it and move it to a landfill? guest: not really. they buried a bunch of barrels which began leaking and bubbling
