katy austin reports.e been examining this park in a quiet residential area of romford today, paying particular attention to the children's playpark. it was just before 9:30 last night that emergency services arrived to find a 17—year—old girl who had been stabbed. she was pronounced dead shortly afterwards. a woman whose house overlooks the park told me herfamily heard a commotion last night and she rushed out. she said there was a small group of young people and she was told one of them had been stabbed. she tried to help the girl as she lay bleeding. an ambulance arrived, but the teenager could not be saved. i'm quite shocked, to be honest, that someone died here, because i can with my baby quite often to this part, and i thought it safe. but, from now, i don't think i am ever going to come ever. the london mayor, sadiq khan, said today he was devastated by the fatal stabbing. i've got a daughter aged 17 years old. many londoners, maybe around the country, will know people who are young and but for the

now on bbc news, talking movies reports from austin in texas and looks back at some reports from austinh by southwest film festival. hello from austin in texas. i am tom brook. in today's edition of talking movies we look back at the 9 day long south by southwest film festival which took place earlier this month. i've been coming to south by southwest for several years and i've always been struck by how eclectic it is as a film festival. it's an unusual brew of studio pictures and genre films, horror and comedy, and independent features and documentaries amid lots of hype and promotion. it's an extravaganza which falls under the wider south by southwest umbrella which also includes a music and interactive media festival. going into the south by southwest film festival this year the highlight was the opening picture and the film i most wanted to see, the world premiere of us. it is the latest creation from the oscar—winning writer and director, jordan peele, whose horrorfilm and racial satire get out became a huge cultural phenomenon two years ago. the stars turned up for the premiere of
