am avni jamdar, director of emerald cities, san francisco bay area. i'd like to thank supervisor mar and the staff for supervising this staff and getting us to this point. emerald city has been involved in efforts to get to this point. we believe this committee will have great value in creating a more navigable and concerted platform for energy efficiency platforms and resources in san francisco county. emerald cities is a national organization, we work together to advance a sustainable environment by creating greater economic opportunities for all. we are transforming the energy efficiency sector in a high road way by retrofiting building stock, creating jobs and revitalizing the local economies of our region. so i am applying for seat 3 but i could qualify for 1 or 2 as well. in san francisco we have successfully demonstrated a project for energy efficiency retrofit with a community work force agreement that we negotiated with the building trades and community at the table that ensured high road labor, community on ramps through career track jobs. w
