azar where mr. azar was this weekend as the crisis of immigrants and hundreds of kids were moved into secretary azar's purpose built facility to hold them. secretary alex azar did not comment anything to us and he has been saying everything is fine and nothing to worry about. he told "the washington post" that yes of course, he visited these facilities where the agency he runs and of course he it vitsited them. he did not say which city and when but he did tell "the post" that he's been there. his office did not confirm which shelter secretary azar has visited or when he was there. secretary azar insisted that there are no reasons to worry about these kids taken away from their parents. there is no reason to think there would be any problems getting these kids back to their parents. his agency is on it and he's keeping these kids and parents in touch. >> secretary azar told the post today, we keep in touch with the parents any any circumstances to ensure placements with relatives or if the parent is

welcome secretary azar. >> mr. chairman and ranking member murray and members of the committee, thank you very much for the opportunity to appear before you today to discuss a very important issue, which is why prescription drug prices are too high and what we're going to do about it. i know all of you care deeply about this challenge and i have appreciated the opportunity to speak with many of you about it. it is one of the first topics i mentioned when i appeared before this committee earlier this year and i applaud the effort to illuminate and address this issue. from day one, president trump has directed hhs to make drug pricing a top priority. the president's 2019 budget laid out a range of proposals for lowering drug prices, including reforms to drug care and medicaid. the president released a blueprint to put americans patients first, a plan of action for how to bring prices down, while keeping our coin try, the world's leader in bio pharmaceutical innovation. over the last decade, four significant problems

azar, i appreciate your service. i can't think of anybody better qualified to serve in the position you are serving in, so i appreciate the expertise and experience you bring to this role. i wanted to just raise the issue because in addition to the blueprint that you rolled out to try to control prescription drug costs, there are other cost drivers that we see in the health care system that the administration has tried to address. one is the department of labor has now issued regulations to make possible for more people to get access to association health care plans so they could take advantage, not of the individual market, but of the employer provided insurance market and find their premiums substantially lower. i would note that people in the individual market, the 9 million people in the individual market, do not have any subsidies, and they seen their costs rise by 105% since 2013, which is unaffordable by any measure. the second thing i just wanted to raise with you, i'm sure you are aware of, is the good work
