we had a trace at b.w.i. marshallnch, and almost an inch fell in the northeast side of baltimore city, 2.5 inches in gaither, three inches in emetsburg and 3 piston 3 -- 3.3 in manchester. some of that snow melted in the afternoon. strong winds making it feel colder outdoors, 17 miles per hour at the airport, 21 in ocean city and 21 in cambridge with gusts stronger than that, with temperatures in the 30's and low 40's across the area. it feels colder with the wind chill. we're only expecting upper thoirts low 40's across maryland and mountains are colder with 24 from garrett county to mid 30's in hags -- hagerstown. the new year's holiday shows the storm moving out and high pressure moving in with an icy mix possibly building in on tuesday. models are keeping it mostly to the south. this is something we will have to watch as the position of that storm could change. new year's eve looks dry and mostly dry into the night, as well. it will be cold that morning, 30 degrees. >> one of the things people will remember the mo

the wind is starting to shift out of the south. 57 degrees currently at b.w.i. marshall. the dewpoint is at 57 as well. we are seeing the wind pick up, which should clear out the low- lying clouds. mid 50's around baltimore. loh 50's north of us. near 60 degrees to our south. for details on the crazy weather pattern, more coming our way. >> police are investigating a deadly shooting in north baltimore over the weekend. they found the victim just before 3:00 p.m. saturday in the 800 block of rich hill park. he died shortly after writing to the hospital. and another deadly shooting in west baltimore. shortly after 10:00 p.m. friday night, investigators found a man shot and monday on the 2300 block of west would avenue along broxton avenue. he was rushed to shock trauma, but died about half an hour later. police are still searching for suspects in both cases. and a police officer is recovering after being shot while trying to clear a crowd of people blocking traffic. the unidentified officer came upon a group of people in the middle of the road at dail avenue and overly at a
