of bad weather. joining us is fox news contributor robert mark. we'll start with this, you have seen the radar images and those kinds of things. from what you have understood is the weather bad enough at this time if they flew into a thunderstorm it could have brought the plane down? >> well, there is always the possibility that could happen in any kind of thunderstorm. i mean the forces of nature inside a thunderstorm are just unbelievably strong but of course we're taught to watch the radar and lookout the window because it would have been daylight there, to steer around the bad weather. you never fly through it. >> we do know that the pilot in the five minutes before the plane vanished from radar issued a radio call and asked to go from 32,000 feet up to 38,000 feet to avoid some of this weather, but there's a lot of discussion and compareson between what is going on over the java sea, what happened with the airfrance flight from brazil to paris that flew into thunderstorms and crashed as well. th

bad weather is coming at a bad time whether you are going by road or air. fog is impacting holiday travel+ here. >> it's just going to get worse as we go into tonight and tomorrow. that's why we have first alert weather days for that 24-hour÷k period. we're going to have foggy travel troubles, especially for flyingv airport delays coming and going all over the eastern united states. it's going to be warm and stormy and we also have strong gusty winds on christmas day. a lot going on in the next couple of days. right now we have drizzle. the main area of rain has moved out. now we are left with fog issues. a quarter mile visibility in mount pocono that's dense. less than two miles at philadelphia international with delays. wil ming ton, a half mile with delays there as well. delays at every airport around the area, not only for today but even worse tonight and tomorrow morning. it's 51 in philadelphia. we don't have an issue of icing or snow as we go into christmas eve and christmas day. through the afternoon, we're going to be seeing fog throughout the day.

temperatures not too bad. 41 in philadelphia. 38 in trenton. a little bit cooler up north. 43 in sea isle city. there's a breeze kicking around between 5 and 10 miles per hour maybe stronger thajts than that the times. we have a sprinkle or shower in delaware are or south jersey. and temperatures hold be at 41 degrees. yesterday we had a high of 46 and today 47. we'll hit that around 2:00. early morning sprinkles and showers are over fairly quickly and by noon we'll see sunny breaks back in. cooler air arrives tomorrow. i'm feeling optimistic, i think this morning's ride will be decent. a lot of people off work not a lot of school buses on the streets. dry conditions around the region. we're sitting pretty at this point along i-95 in the work zone no extra overnight construction. we had overnight walk on the schuylkill expressway between south and the vine those crews are out of the way. everything is reopened and speeds are in the 50s along i-76. coming in from 42 blackwood deptford there's no extra construction the traffic is moving fine. >>>

but there are bad ones.ost of the banks we work with are great banks, but there are financial institutions that are bad. we try to broadcast a brood net over all of those things, and again, if we start to educate ourselves -- again, there is nothing wrong with being ignorant, but there is something wrong with staying ignorant. i say to individuals you don't have to trust me, but you will trust a contract, and if you learn how to read the fine print and learn how to navigate, there's no reason to mistrust banks. because you can learn how to use financial tools responsibly so you can come out on top. and that's what the individuals who are truly savvy about building growth principals are savvy about. and i have to say looking at mike brown -- i mean my heart reaches out to him and his family. but in both mike brown and eric garner's case, there are questions of what was he doing? he was alleged i will stealing cigars. again, there is a correlation between poverty and crime. so if we can fix the poverty, and cr

but how bad a threat is that? because i think all of our viewers have flown through thunderstorms in a plane before. >> well i don't think that most people have really flown through thunderstorms. >> really? >> i mean pilots certainly never want to fly through thunderstorms. it may feel like it because of the bumps and the rain and the lightning and all that. but the core of the thunderstorm, no pilot wants to do that. we specialize in trying to avoid that weather as best we can. >> why? can a thunderstorm break up a plane? >> well, there is enough force in a thunderstorm to certainly exceed the limits of any kind of a metal machine. it absolutely can happen. it doesn't happen very often because these airplanes are built so strongly. and pilots are pretty good at avoiding that kind of weather, for that reason exactly. because they realize it. >> what do you make of the fact the reports are the pilot want today go up to 32,000 feet to 38,000. and was denied. within four minutes the communication was gone and so was
