in the studio, today show co host al rockyr, from daytona beach, florida, nbc correspondent julia bagg. wow. when you look at feet -- feet -- of water inside your home, what are we looking at right now, al? >> the storm surge is one of the things we're really concerned about now that dorian is on the move and making its way to the north. you can see we've got rain bands stretching from charleston down to savannah, jacksonville, and in fact, the eye of the storm is almost parallel with jacks jacksonvil jacksonville, florida. here's the latest from the national hurricane center. in fact, we have to worry about a tornado threat. there is a risk from severe weather from savannah to the beach. right now you can see tropical force winds in savannah. the latest from the weather service at 2:00 p.m. 180 miles south of charleston, however, it is run, just about parallel to jacksonville. 105-mile-per-hour winds. we have warnings from melbourne to cape hatteras. we have storm warnings into parts of north carolina and tropical storm watches into virginia. here's what we look for for the path now.
