right now, 100 degrees. 96 in bakersfield, little cooler in la there. at 75 you can see where we are in the bay area. these temperatures are warm. >> and as we take a look at morgan hill, 94 degrees. 95 there in livermore. 81 in downtown san francisco. so we back down a little bit there, but 102, pittsburgh, we made it triple digit heat. not something i was hoping we would do today. but there we are. fairfield at 97. 98 up in santa rosa cloverdale at 101 right now. so there is some wild heat happening in the bay area that has put temperatures well above where they were 24 hours ago. you can see the difference there. even half moon bay, 13 degrees warmer. but where 15, 16 degrees warmer in spots like napa and hayward and just across the board, obviously an incredibly warm day. so high pressure is in control now, the breakdown of this will be that high pressure will track across now when it does, gets past us will start to cool down a little bit. it gets kind of interesting here because there is low pressure to the north, but it doesn't really rolled out.

i knew what i was wanting to do when i got to the white house and and campaign speech in bakersfield, i said that i was going to ask the president to appoint a commission on mental health. and when when jim was president, i was going to ask him to do and then i went home and totally. it was very at times because the press would cover the first few meetings. and after that they said mental health is not sexy. it's not a sexy issue. people don't like read about it. and so you have meetings after meetings. the end of the first year, i was described as fuzzy. nobody knew what i was doing because i was buried, that mental health work. but nobody. particularly cared about covering it. mrs. and it was rather a discussion as to what is the most important, but also what had public appeal hopefully. you can come up interest and something that has both, as you say, health wasn't sexy enough for the press to follow it. maybe more controversial issue or something is more popular and that has be taken into consideration in case particularly if you have an election up. i mean, there's politics. eith
