warm out there for opening day at the ballpark. tomorrow morning, patches of low clouds west of the golden gate and during the afternoon. the low clouds, probably going to look at high clouds coming in. not enough to produce any rain. at times, filtering the sun and giving us a nice sunset. one area of low pressure is going to scoot towards central california. we think that will trigger a strong sea breeze. temperatures staying very summer-like through tomorrow and in the trivalley through wednesday. the coastal cooling will drop our temperatures off. but not until thursday or friday. tomorrow, with the warmer start, should see mid-80s tomorrow. around saratoga, sunnyvale and morgan hill, you could see upper 80s, maybe near 90. around the peninsula, temperatures in the mid-80s. san francisco, close to 80 degrees. around 1:00 or 12:00. then they will cascade down in the 70s. north bay, climbing into the 80s tomorrow. as the winds pick up out of the south on wednesday, we'll see cooling in the north bay by midweek. and the trend here

but how else could families afford a day at the ballpark? that's nice, right? that cincinnati reds owner is one of the most famous baseball team owners of all time, and not for a good reason. in 1984 marge schott acquired the cincinnati reds. she was the first woman to ever be a major league baseball team owner other than inheriting it from some other family member. so that fact made her a high-profile baseball team owner anyway. she was also an outspoken populist. she not only kept the hot dog prices low, she kept the ticket prices low for the cincinnati reds games too. she was a beloved figure in cincinnati. when the team was doing well, when the team was doing poorly, everybody loved marge schott. and marge schott, it turns out, loved hitler. seriously. that was part of the marge schott problem. i'm not speaking hyperbolically, i never do about hitler. in 1991 a front office employee at the reds sued marge schott for wrongful termination. he said he was fired because he opposed what he said was her policy of not hiring black people. when they started taking

i think a's fans would love to be in a brand new ballpark, being in st. we have beneficiaries of relatively new ballpark and you see them all around baseball the last 10 or 15 years, it does a wonderful thing for a fan base but unfortunately you have a very poor situation in oakland and finances between the two teams, guys, are so different, you could see why oakland wants to move to the more affluent san jose market. just a few numbers real quickly. forbes just came out with their franchise valuations of the giants last year generated about $320 million in revenue. that was fifth best in baseball compared to oakland at only 190, third worst in baseball. so you can see why oakland wants to move. david: but here's the thing. there is this antitrust exemption that mlb has. it dates back to the 1920s. maybe it was valid back then. it's not valid today. just about everybody agrees to that. if san jose can prove collusion between the mlb and the oakland a's they would have to take that issue of the antitrust exempt sun that baseball has to the supreme court. w
