this is in downtown baltimore.s 4:30 yesterday when the shooting hammed. we just got update on his condition and we're told he remains in critical condition and grave condition and is on live support. meantime i want to show you some video of what we shot from earlier this morning when we were just out there. police commissioner kevin daviss being identified at this time. he's weren't 18 year veteran detective. homicide detective. he was on duty in the area of bennett place yesterday just before 5:00 o'clock. he was following up on homicide case in that neighborhood when he saw a man he was acting suspicious, so approached him to ask him a few questions and that is when the man shot the officer in the head. this happened again just before 5:00 o'clock yesterday. now, of course, many law enforcement agencies reactioning to the news. tragic news they're asking for prayers. we also have maryland governor larry hogan he tweeted out everyone to join he and the first lady in prayer asking all maryland to pray for the off
