three men claiming to be police officers break into a baltimore home and rob the place. this morning, abc2's sherrie johnson is live at city police headquarters with the latest. >> reporter: well, this morning, baltimore city police officers need the public's help trying to find the people that falsely portray themselves as cops. this latest accident happened yesterday morning about 5:30 when homeowners were sound asleep. suddenly three men with police bashs barge in and rob their home. when the fake officers got inside, they tied up the people and ransacked the house. authorities say the same thing happened on two other homes one at medford and the other in federal hill the city says they are not sure what they are dealing with here. >> unclear at this point if these are copy cats or this is a group of individuals. they are all across the city the three incidents we have so far so there's no correlation based on geography we can point to as of yet. >> reporter: now city police officers tell us that in this latest incident, no one was injured in this home invasion. report

baltimore police are investigating a suspicious death in northeast baltimore. a man's body was found last night inside a truck in a compound -- in count a lot. it is not clear how long his body had been there or how he died. 25-year-old james robert kaine of pasadena was thrown from a vote on july 4 and his friend was thrown as well. his friend was rescued by another boat. kaine's body was found today. and police are looking for a man who attacked -- who smashed a windshield with a hammer before taking off into the woods. he is described as a white man, 6 feet tall, 200 pounds wearing a red plaid shirt and jeans. if you have information, call police. >> a vehicle on southbound i-95 created a major traffic issue just before 11:30 a.m. this morning near a toll plaza. the cause of the fire is still under investigation. >> the owner of a famous london tabloid says they are shutting down. >> it registered sex offender is chased out of a girl's locker room. find out how he got inside as we cover the nation. >> this is gourmet food out of a food box. literally a resta
