south of baltimore it's been a scattered shower event. most rain showers from baltimore south. a lot of this is an accumulating darkers areas of blue. mainly hagerstown west. anywhere east of that is too warm for that snow to stick. let's take a look at the temperatures right now. 35 in parkton. 40 at the inner harbor. 38 in elkton. you have those colder temperatures below freezing west. and that's definitely where the snow could be sticking throughout the next couple of hours. all this should be clearing out as we head towards the afternoon as we are expecting this entire storm to list offshore. some showers down in southern maryland then snow up towards the north but all is very minimal compared to what the storm caused out in the plains. this was the same storm system that brought all that heavy snow to colorado, and nebraska. not only is it falling apart, it's entering in warmer air and therefore we're seeing just mainly rain showers. tailgating in the mid 40's out there. scattered clouds and chilly conditions but not bad for a february day. as for tonight, at least around
