near bancroft and 73rd avenue.. kron4's haaziq madyun has the story. sotit happened around 9:30am here at arroyo viejo creek in east oakland. police secured the area with yellow crime scene tape, while investigators collected multiple pieces of evidence at the scene. opd spokesperson felicia aisthorpe describes the area where the woman's body was foundsot the creeruns through a neighborhood park. there is also an elementary school near by. several years ago a female homicide victim was found in this same creek. a suspect was arrested and charged in that case. police say there appears to be no connection to this case. although it is early
