john the baptist drops on sunday. to baptize you with water. about this man who is now among us, he will baptize you with fire. >> martha: that is just a little bit of john the baptist. these are all profiles of saints. they are regular people who became saints based on the actions that they took on their lives. your thoughts on this project. >> i tried to look at this with a very critical eye. doing something about religion then catholicism more than saints. as a theologian and former catholic priest and as a practicing christian and catholic, i am excited about that. what about the eyes of an evangelical or protestant or agnostic or atheist even? can i tell you, there are three things that stood out to me. number one is that martin scorsese is a historian. an amateur historian but he looks at this as what actually happened? what do we know happened? that is helpful. we want to know truth. we want to know history. number two, it is really inspiring. it is not cheesy inspiring. he shows that humanity as you mentioned
