barbara smith. known to the world as b. smith. b. smith with style for almost a decade.ll. so it was a shock to her fans and friends when last year at 65 the one of a kind woman revealed she was battling alzheimer's. i recently sat down with her and her husband for a candid conversation. you look as beautiful if not more beautiful than i have ever seen you. just the position of alzheimer's, what is going on inside as opposed to outside. how do you deal with it b? >> i deal with it in a practical way. i know that i have got a problem. it doesn't make me happy. sometimes it makes me teary. but because i have great support, i'm doing fine. i'm doing really good. >> b started noticing problems with forgetfulness a few years ago. her husband of 23 years also started noticing changes. >> going from being a multitask person to more of a sequential person, which was different. or doing things that were a little out of the ordinary sort of like well, what was that? >> do you remember sitting in that doctor's office and getting that diagnosis? >> yes. i had tears in my eyes. at th
