we spoke with the owner of the barber shop after the robbery. he was shaken, but he didn't want to believe the kid he hired to work around the barber shop could possibly be involved. at the same time he thought it was odd he hadn't heard from him hours after he said he was freed from a shotgun wielding robber. late last night antioch police arrested 16-year-old who was the subject of the statewide amber alert. suspicion arose about his possible involvement soon after the robbery. it was monday afternoon. a man with a sawed-off shotgun walked into al's barber shop on west 18th and robbed the owner of cash, jewelry and the keys to his suv. the teen who sometimes worked there walked in after running an errand. the gunman forced him to drive the pair away in the stolen suv. shortly after the teen called family and friends so say he was released and was okay. now police, though, say he has admitted his involvement in the whole thing. they also arrested a 23-year-old man after serving a search warrant on an apartment in antioch on lone tree. they beli
