( darya ) a big story this morning... reuben foster has been released from the 49ers after he was arrested in tampa over the weekend. foster was arrested for domestic violence saturday at the team hotel in tampa ahead of the 49ers game sunday. foster was released on bond yesterday afternoon. we met up with niners fans who say everyone deserves their time in court but say the team needed to cut their ties with foster to maintain their integrity. ( darya ) according to court records... the victim is foster's on- and-off again girlfriend who he has had a history with after he was arrested in february following an incident at his home... those charges were dropped after she said she lied about the incident. ( darya ) in the east bay... oakland police have arrested a woman for d-u-i. police say she had more than twice the legal limit after she crashed into a parked car. c-h-p responded to a crash after receiving several calls of a black s-u-v driving recklessly on 580 near lakeshore drive. they say the car took out an electrical box.. drove over the sidewalk and crashed into a parked car at a gas station. no one was in the parked car. the driver was booked into the santa rita jail. ( darya ) in national news... an alabama family is demanding accountability and justice after a police officer shot a killed 21-year- old they thought was fleeing the scene of a fight inside a mall. the the shooting happened thursday night inside a suburban birmingham mall. police thought emantic fitzgerald bradford junior was involved in the fight and opened fire inside the mall... injuring two people. police initally said the officer shot bradford because he was armed and appeared to be fleeing the scene. but now officers say new evidence suggests bradford fire the shots... and least one gunman is still at large. bradford's parents say police have still not contacted them personally. ( darya ) kron 4's will tran is at the amazon fullfillment center in tracy with the latest.. <> ( darya ) concord police need your help identifying a man caught on camera stealing a package. they say he was on a bike riding around the neighborhood before coming to a front porch to take a package. if you have any information about the concord police. ( darya ) the oakland diocese is delaying its release of the names of all clergy credibly accused of sexual abuse of minors. back in october, the diocese said it would release the names in the coming days. now it wants to contact all survivors in advance of the public announcement. the oakland diocese says it also wants to spend more time verifying the information that they have on priest from religious orders and from other dioceses. the newsletter is now expected to come out at the beginning of next year. ( darya ) a resident in modesto made a gruesome discovery over the weekend after finding human remains buried in their backyard. the resident says they were digging a hole to bury a family pet when they discovered the decomposed remains. the stanislaus county sheriff's county confirmed the remains were indeed human and they say its probably been there for months. detectives are considering this incident a possible homicide. ( james )on the peninsula... police in palo alto are looking for a man who exposed himself to a teenage girl. this is the sketch of the man. investigators say the 14-year-old girl was walking her dog on east meadow drive last week when the man pulled up to the curb in a light brown or gold four door sedan. she says he asked for directions and exposed himself. the vehicle was last seen traveling east bound on east meadow drive. ( james ) in southern california the woolsey fire is 100-percent contained. the fire burned more than 96- thousand acres and killed three people. there are still mandatory evacuations in place in ventura county. ( james ) some victims of that fire are now filing lawsuits. they are blaming the local utility company for sparking the fire that destroyed their homes. patrick mcnicholas is one of the attorneys representing victims of the woolsey fire against socal edison. they held a town hall meeting over the weekend to talk about victims rights, insurance coverage and steps toward rebuilding. mcnicholas says his firm has hired experts to help them prove socal edison caused the fire. , ( james ) some of the victims say they know that litigation could take up to two years, but they say it is worth the wait. ( james ) new this morning... three juveniles have been arrested after leading martinez police on a 13-mile chase in a stolen car. the cahse happened yesterday... these are picturesfter the juveniles were arrested. police say the car involved in the chase was reported stolen on november 19th. a license plate reading camera on alhambra avenue captured the car... and that's when polcie attempted to pull the car over. but the driver led police onto highway 4. a few miles east of hercules the car hit a curb destroying the right front tire... that's when the car came to a stop and the juveniles were arrested. ( james ) more volunteers are returning home following the devastation in the camp fire.darya ) a nurse in walnut creet is among the people who went to help out in the fire zone. she shared her experience with kron 4's philippe djegal. (philippe) in the past year... walnut creek native tammi bachecki (buh-check-ee) has traveled to puerto rico... volunteering her services as a nurse to victims of hurricane maria. last month, she was in florida helping those devestated by hurricane michael... and, for the past week, she's been stateside -- in butte county... supporting families in chico, who lost everything in the camp fire.tammi bechecki/nurse- "a lot of what we were seeing, you know, from the medical standpoint, were patients with asthma, that have, or copd, that were having exacerbations from the smoke due to the air. air quality in the bay area was horrible, but in chico, it was so, so thick, um, you could barely see the sun." and, although bachecki makes her living as a registered nurse here in the intensive care unit at kaiser permanente's walnut creek medical center... she says what she was emersed in in butte county... will stick with her forever... and, that it was an emotionally draining experience.tammi bechecki/nurse- "a lot of tears, a lot of hugs, um, and then you know, a lot of smiling through the tears as well. a lot of the people in the shelter, knew they were in a dire situation were trying to make the best of it." tammi drove up to chico a week ago -- part of a team of 11 nurses and one nurse practitioner representing national nurses united's registered nurse response network. bechecki returned to the bay area thursday night. tammi bechecki/nurse- "and, actually a couple of the nurses, uh, have actually gone back up to continue to help. they had some time off work." she wishes these natural disasters were less frequent. tammi bechecki/nurse- "all of these hurricanes and fires and flooding, is you know, that just shows us global warming is happening and we need to do something about it because people are dying." and, she's tired of seeing it happen on her watch.tammi bechecki/nurse- "you know, i always kind of give myself a little time to kind of regroup, reenergize before going out again, and unfortunately, uh, you know, there will be a need again -- somewhere." unfortunately, she's right. in walnut creek, philippe djegal, kron four news. ( darya ) happening now ... the golden gate ferry is running on normal schedule following the accident on friday.( james ) kron 4's sara stinson is live at the ferry building with the latest... sara? the golden gate ferry is working to make sure there are no disruptions to the schedule after friday's crash.the ferry involved in the crash is still being repaired so officials with the golden gate bridge district say they are down one ship.but to maintain the schedule one of the other six other vessels will be used and the schedule will remain the same.the crash happened on friday at two in the afternoon - 53 passengers were abroad the larkspur - san francisco ferry.two people were injured and treated on scene.the investigation into how and why the ferry crashed into the dock is ongoing.ferry managment met over the weekend to understand what happened and discuss how to avoid this from happening in the future.< julie wiard, golden gate ferry passenger<"it did a little bit this morning because they had some trouble docking this morning. they said it was due to some of the damage at the dock, but there are other docks so i guess it's just going to be a little shuffling around.">many people on board during the crash say there was no warning during the crash - we'll be talking to passengers this morning here at the ferry terminal.i'm live in san francisco, sara stinson, kron four news.### <"glad i wasn't on that boat. what's the term ramming speed? because that's what happened. i'm assuming its mechanical problem as the skipper must have seen that pier coming at him in a hurry."> ( james ) thanks sara. ( darya ) a big story this morning out of southern california ... where hundreds of migrants tried to cross into the u-s.that led to the brief closure of a major port of entry in san diego.( james ) witnesses say it was chaotic scene ... where nearly 5-hundred migrants rushed the border. border patrol officials say they used tear gas to disperse would-be crossers in response to agents being hit with rocks. no border patrol agents were injured in the chaos.the rush of migrants led authorities to suspend all crossings between san diego and tijuana for a few hours. ( darya ) more than three-dozen people were arrested at the border. mexican officials say the migrants who tried to enter the u-s sunday will be deported. ( james ) the mayor of tijuana said he wouldn't let the migrants' actions damage the city's relationship with the u-s. he is calling for the mexican government to help with the situation. president trump responding this morning to the incidents at the u-s mexico border saying in part... they are not coming into the u-s-a. we will close the border permanently if need be. congress fund the wall!. ( darya ) the oakland diocese is delaying its release of the names of all clergy credibly accused of sexual abuse of minors. back in october, the diocese said it would release the names in the coming days. now it wants to contact all survivors in advance of the public announcement. the oakland diocese says it also wants to spend more time verifying the information that they have on priest from religious orders and from other dioceses. the newsletter is now expected to come out at the beginning of next year. ( james )on the peninsula... police in palo alto are looking for a man who exposed himself to a teenage gi. this is the sketch of the man. investigators say the 14-year-old girl was walking her dog on east meadow drive last week when the man pulled up to the curb in a light brown or gold four door sedan. she says he asked for directions and exposed himself. the vehicle was last seen traveling east bound on east meadow drive. ( james ) new this morning... three juveniles have been arrested after leading martinez police on a 13-mile chase in a stolen car. the cahse happened yesterday... these are pictures after the juveniles were arrested. police say the car involved in the chase was reported stolen on november 19th. a license plate reading camera on alhambra avenue captured the car... and that's when polcie attempted to pull the car over. but the driver led police onto highway 4. a few miles east of hercules the car hit a curb destroying the right front tire... that's when the car came to a stop and the juveniles were arrested. ( james ) a big story this morning ... amazon is preparing for what's expected to be the largest cyber monday in history. ( darya ) concord police need your help identifying a man caught on camera stealing a package. they say he was on a bike riding around the neighborhood before coming to a front porch to take a package. if you have any information about the suspect call concord police. ( darya ) new this morning ... a newly released study finds young football players may see damage to their brains ... even after one season on the field. researchers looked at 60- football players between the ages of nine of 18. the players had no history of head trauma or developmental issues prior to playing football.after one season-- researchers say high-impact players had damage to an essential part of brain development. researchers note the results mirror other recent findings ... but they say more research is needed because the study didn't look at long term effects.experts point out caution should be used in all sports-- not just football.
