i remember actually upsetting barry hooper with my insistence that we should have done this long ago, he was, as is so often the case, correct that we had to do it the right way at the right time. and i do think the outreach that's been done that was described by you, cyndy, and that was affirmed by one of the speakers tonight, has been truly impressive. i do want us to support this ordinance and to urge the board to pass it. but like so many other people that we've heard tonight, i would like you to try to strengthen it. i know you're pretty far down the path here in terms of your work on this, but i think that a number of the points that have been made to us both in writing and orally about the need for increased transparency, for example, for a tightening of the exemptions, for a second look at the use of decorative gas fixtures, for example, i think that those points deserve some additional attention, and i really hope you will give them that attention. i don't at this precise minute know the best way to make that happen, and debbie, if you could give some advice, i'd appreciate i
