(mark) happening now... government officials are expanding their investigation into complaints of exhaust fumes inside ford explorer s-u- v's. the national highway traffic safety administration is adding two model years and nearly 400-thousand cars to their investigation. government officials say the investigation now covers more than a million ford explorers from 2011 to 20-17. this comes after finding more than 27-hundred complaints about exhaust odors and fears of carbon monoxide in an investigation started last year. among the complaints there were three crashes and 41 injuries. most of those complaints came from police departments. ford says it is cooperating with the investigation.
