here's a problem with the bart in san francisco this afternoon. a tree blew down onto the track near the balboa park bart station and service was stopped for most of the afternoon. it started around 1:00 and carried on until just recently. as you can imagine passengers very frustrated. >> they didn't tell us much just that the trains weren't working at all. >> there's no trains moving. >> i'm going back to atlanta. >> struggling. they've got limited equipment. looks lying lightweight chain saws and into heavy moving equipment. so they have a challenge. >> they finally did get it clear and that line in san francisco is now completely open. but it wasn't just san francisco. at one point three of the five bart lines were down between castro valley and dublin pleasanton line is now open. between pleasant hill and concord stations we understand that is open. the only difficulty is on the freemont line that's a big recovery for bart. we're going to be back at 6:00 to let you know about what pg & e is doing, there are big power out ages almost everywhere
