the bart police tell us that they are not connected to the bart station, it does not appear they were passengers on bart, but that this all occurred in the bus loading area of this bart station at the lake merritt station. this is an ongoing investigation. again, one man is dead tonight after a fatal shooting. police have not said if they have recovered that weapon. this is an investigation that they are looking into in terms of all the pieces involved. i did ask them how many people may be involved in this situation, if there were other people that they were looking for. they say they are still continuing to investigate. they're asking anyone with information to contact them and any videos, anything that you may have will help them in this investigation. >> velena, do we know anything at this point about the trains, the buses? are those being impacted at all from this? >> reporter: so we do know that service was impacted for about 20 to 30 minutes. trains were continuously moving through the area, but what that means is they didn't stop at this lake merritt station. so trains had to

bart police are investigating a rape at a parking structure at the bart station in the east bay city of concord. as cctv's alice wertz reports, police have already made an arrest. it was at this parking structure at the bart concord station at about 11:30 a.m. friday morning. a call came in to concord police that was then routed to bart police reports of a rape happened on the second floor. yellow police tape surrounds the area where the incident happened in an isolated corner of the second story of the parking structure, a bart police officering evidence and placing markers in this emptyty connection bus. but both bart and concord police cooperated surrounding the bus next to the sun valley mall, where a juvenile suspect was taken into custody. in addition to collecting evidence, bart reports the reviewing surveillance video from security cameras as part of the investigation, we spoke to a few women who say they're always cautious, especially on transit and staying aware for safety's sake. bradley i think, you know, i'm from san francisco traditionally, so i generally feel safe trav
