first of all, this is affecting the bart lines. bart sent out this picture. want to show you about the vehicle that is on and into the tracks just off highway four. notice the cement divider on the other side of the vehicle. there's one on either side of the tracks dividing the freeway itself by these tracks itself, and that's why they have to continue to keep the bar off line through the area between antioch and north concord. as a result, until they can clear those tracks, the deadly crash itself is eastbound highway four at bailey. there are a couple of lanes blocked right now, but westbound as you commute with the big slowing distracted by all the activity on the bart tracks itself, and this may be another couple of hours until the coroner even gets there, we're told by chp. so again, no bart yellow line service between antioch and north concord. highway four is open, but the westbound commute is distracted with additional slowing. the rest of the east bay, contra costa county, alameda county, and the north bay highway 37 all holding pretty standard there

bart station. it happened before 10 a.m. nbc bay area's velena jones has the latest details on this investigation. velena. after hours of detouring commuters, this hayward station reopened around 1:00 this afternoon. but tonight, the investigation continues into what led to this stabbing. commuters gave way to crime scene tape at the hayward bart station this morning after a man was stabbed and wounded. investigators collected evidence for hours focusing on the concourse level near the bathroom. sad. real sad. i feel a little uncomfortable. a little uncomfortable, but at the same time, i just got to go through the day just like everybody else. witnesses say the man was stabbed multiple times, but officials expect him to survive. bart police initially detained two people, but ultimately determined they were not involved. tonight, bart commuters say the violence needs to stop. it's a little outrageous. the hours long station closure meant many travelers faced delays and bus bay bridge detours. more t

will. >> bart is back on track. literally. they are not stopping at pittsburgh and making people hop on a bus bridge. instead, they're going all the way through. but for a while north conquered, this was the first stop as antioch and the bay point pittsburgh station off-limits because of this. let me show you pictures around 3.45 in the morning for some unknown reason. they're still investigating a car crashes through the barrier and lands on the track responders came out there and they realize that the person had died inside the car. they spent hours removing the car, looked at the track. then right around about 8 o'clock in the morning, they were able to remove that car and get service resumed to the thousands of part. right. spend in between that time. let me show you video. they had to rush out and establish a bus bridge because people in antioch, well, bart was off limits. so was that bay point station they had to carry people to the north conquered station, making it effectively the first stop for a very popular line and
