i just need you from lakeland to bartow to wauchula to arcadia to sebring, and these spots i need you to understand you'll have to deal with some fog very early this morning but once the sun comes up, it will be a lot better. look at this. a little line of showers. not much to it. looks like approaches a cold front. this is the one that's going to change the air mass, make it feel so much drier out there and ahead of it, a couple of sprinkles down between sebring and avon park, right along highway 27. had a quick shower. go back to the coast and you see, here's your little main line of some very, very light rain. once this moves through, then we can begin to drag in some of it will happen later today. we're starting in the lower 70s, very, very warm, very muggy. look at the panhandle. it's 50 in pensacola. it's 60 in tallahassee so not too far away, the cooler, drier air is going to set up shop so it's one of those deals where we had dew points in the upper 60s now and it will feel very summer-like, at least through early afternoon and then we'll start to drag in drier air and wake it

less than a quarter mile near bartow. go to winter haven and it's up around few more patches here and there. cold front comes out later today. it will bring with it a couple of showers. nothing significant at all and behind this front, we'll begin to dry things out a bit. 79 for a high temperature today. tomorrow 76 but it's going to feel so, so much different as our dew points drop in the 40s. saturday looks gorgeous as well. >>vanessa: sure does. thanks, dave. not looking gorgeous right now, i-4. we have delays bad enough at you're just joining us, westbound i-4, we're down to a single lane just past thonotosassa road just after a crash and you can see they're pretty much setting up shop here. emergency crews have put the cones out and so we'll probably see the delays grow from here on out until this completely clears out so drivers use that work around, probably u.s. 92 where sam allen road is, those are the two obvious ones to the north and south of i-4 and you can see the delays are back towards park road with the sp

it's been towards lakeland, bartow, mulberry the worst of this fog. our temperatures across the board are kind of warm this morning. you can leave the heavy jackets and sweaters at home. we will be warming up to 80 degrees once again despite a lot of cloud cover and a decent amount of at least some light rain rolling through the forecast. here are the numbers. plant city the visibility is up a touch to 2.5 miles. lakeland down to a quarter mile. things are starting to improve just a little bit in the bartow area as well. we are going to see more clou through the day today. so sarasota right now, you're actually clear, but we are going to see that cloud cover spreading towards the southeast and we are going to see the rain chances doing the same thing. just starting to see a little bit of light rain working into the extreme northwestern parts of citrus county, and that's going to continue to slide towards the southeast over the next couple of hours and by 8:00 that's firmly in place, even as early as 7:00 this morning. coming onshore. tracking light ra

temperature wise again very comfortable, 68 for plant city, 66 in bartow, and here's a look at what we're expecting this continued dry flow all across our area. winds are out of the north now of course we had that cold front slide through yesterday. and it's that breeze that will continue to usher in that extremely dry air. if you have outdoor holiday shopping weather is going to cooperate for you. so really no problems coming our way. there's that high again of 75 degrees, just a few fair weather passing clouds. and we are expecting as we start going through time those temperatures will start warming up. so enjoy the seasonal air while we've got it because you'll notice as we start going towards the end of this forecast we'll be looking at much cooler -- or warmer air and that's going to happen by the weekend. the humidity starts to rise and you'll notice that by sunday 82 for your afternoon high, appeared your morning lows will start coming back up as well. there's the forecast over the next couple of days and next week, low 80s coming our way and will be looking at rain chances startin
