thursday evening just outside of the municipal work bathroom they are soft and a 13 year-old boy. the suspects took off before the officers could rise, they say the boy did not suffer any physical injuries. and man is in the hospital tonight after the police say he got into a fight. he fired shots at officers led them on a chase and tried to shoot himself and the head. it started friday night at around 9:30 p.m. in hayward they said the 32 year-old suspect severely be a man in his late fifties at a restaurant when the police arrived they said the man opened fire on them although he did not hit them. he led the police on a check to an apartment on cypress avenue and that is where the man hit inside causing a standoff and that eventually ended when the man tried to shoot himself and the head. he's being treated tonight at the hospital the police have not said what caused a violent rampage. authorities in east palo alto were finding ways to crack down on violence after a three month old was shot last month. isaac garcia was killed by drive-by shooting that turned out to be a case of
