others question bauer's management of the school district. bauer, though, is very popular with parents who are holding forums in hopes of finding people who will focus on the education of their children. they're looking for candidates they can back. in fact, some of those parents are here today in support of their superintendent. now, if the superintendent is ultimately granted that permanent restraining order, which at this point is still temporary, it could make things very difficult to do school business, because if can tran is required to stay away from the superintendent, that means she wouldn't be able to -- he wouldn't be able to contact her via e-mail, phone, in person, at her office, snail mail. he wouldn't be able to contact her in any way. so the judge is considering how to allow those trustee meetings to go on under those parameters. the possibility that there could be a police officer at the next board meeting on tuesday or the possibility that mr. tran will have to phone it in. in san jose, kris sanchez, "today in the bay." >> i
