there is a red flag fire warning now in effect for the north bay, the east bay, and the south bay hills. what you are looking at is a live look over dublin one of the areas firefighters are concerned about. chief meteorologist is tracking those conditions, jeff, those hills in dublin are very, very yellow these days. >> that's right. drought conditions in place for all of california at this point. gus tee fire winds today as we talked about yesterday. those did happen. oakland hills 57 miles per hour. also santa rosa at 27. that red flag fire warning has now increased here across the bay, including the north bay, east bay and for the south bay. this is for hills above 1,000 feet, we could have winds gusting 35 miles an hour throughout nap a and sonoma. for the east bay includes the 680 corridor all the way down to dublin. and for all of the hills across the south bay at this point. so while it is dry here, we need that rainfall, we have storm activity out in the pacific. no rainfall from this for us, but will kick up high surf and dangerous waves, we'll track that forecast coming up. >>
