this goes for the north bay, san francisco and east bay. i want to drill down right now to the hour by hour forecast. if you are near the tv but cooking dinner come closer. this is going to help you plan your morning quite a bit. you can see 1:00 in the morning rainfall is to the north. as we head to 5:30 in the morning you are starting to see rainfall move in and possibly getting close to san francisco. move towards the sf peninsula and the east bay by 8:30. this is expected to fall apart once it hits san francisco. afternoon tomorrow -- we haven't seen big fluc chagzs. quarter inch on average for the north bay. possibly a few hours could see a half inch. most spots from an frsan francio to san jose trace amounts. we will watch it closely based on what we are seeing now and on the forecast model. that is our best estimate at this point. in terms of temperatures for tomorrow cools off a little more. 71 in san jose. for the east bay you have 70 in danville. 67 in hayward. peninsula 71 in palo alto. up towards san francisco 66 in the mission

looking at the south bay, the east bay, and the upper east shore freeway.t shore had that crash that cleared a while back, just as we saw more traffic off the carquinez bridge. folks using an alternate, so there may be more folks as the commute builds. the south bay, 87 and 101 both had crashes around the same latitude. they both cleared. some recovery, and more traffic for 85. let's look at the shift in the south bay on our system. waze says if you use this, drive from almaden valley up to mountain view and sunnyvale, 85 will be about as fast as it will be for 87. recovering through downtown, and also you can avoid 101 because that's the slowest stretch coming up past the airport for the earlier crashes. make sure to join our waze team wherever you're driving today or throughout the summer, and more and more schools get the summer schedule, getting off for the summer, you'll have traditional routes that are not familiar to you, taking the kids to summer camp. take the nbc bay area wazers team with you to get where you're going as quickly as possible. >> it
