we see a lot more snow again for areas, especially over the north bay. right now, the latest readings report areas of the north valley floor, as well as the coastline, unhealthy reported there. the central coast as well as areas along the south coast, we are looking at moderate air quality from the coastline to the east bay, and down through the south bay. at this hour, areas over the north bay, areas like santa rosa, stretching toward the coast, all reporting unhealthy air. if you see it and smell it, as you know, avoid it. close your windows. we are asking some consider masks if you will be out and about. the winds are generally light out there. they are blowing from the north and northwest. that is allowing some smoke to drift in and around areas like windsor and santa rosa, i'll do one more shift here, you can see how those winds are pushing the smoke out along the coastline. perhaps even toward petaluma and nevada. this is what we will see as we get into the next 24 hours or so. things will shift once again. we have another wind event coming our way

it was felt all across the bay area, some spots outside of the bay area as well.ar shows where the quake was centered but check out all the highlights around it. people as far as santa cruz reported feeling in and as far north as santa rosa we've been getting video into our newsroom from shaking once again all across the bay area lot of us sleeping and it definitely woke us up i know i woke up i felt the best shaking and it felt like it lasted so long like when is this going to stop take a look at the damage was caused inside of target in pleasant hill. so for those of you it wasn't that big there is no damage there was these items were thrown all across the floor there in target a lot of folks at some some broken picture frames and things that fell off their shelves. so yeah we were all a little nervous last night by the quake. i can't thank you for waking up with us here on the kron 4 morning news hopefully raul calm now we're a little nervous and during last night because first thing think ok going to aftershock is this like you know this is a big one coming. w

many of the customers were just in the bay area. now the process is not as quick as customers hoped for because crews are first required to respect the power lines before bringing in neighborhoods back online. using helicopterance and ground crews to make it happen as quick as possible. we expect an update from pg&e and the ceo bill johnson in about an hour. nbc bay area thom jensen joins news orinda and we hear everybody has the power back on there tonight. >> that's right, janelle. after checking through all the power lines that weave through the trees on the populated hillsides in contra costa county. -- in fact i got off the phone with pg&e a couple seconds ago as we were going on air. the spokesperson told me that about 95% now of all of the customers mere in contra costa county have power back on. about 85% of the customers in alameda county. a lot of people counting blessings they made it through the outages with just financial losses. the high voltage lines in the contra costa dooft county hills humming against as a business
