widespread through the bay area. once we hit about 1:00 p.m. the north bay and then some heavier rainfall developing over marin, napa, sonoma counties by 5:00 p.m. that rain is stepping off to the south once we hit 7:00 p.m. so i think over all the north bay would have the heaviest rain fall. as this heads to the south bay you can see it is gradually starting to break up. the santa cruz mountains getting some of the heaviest rain and by 11:00 p.m. we'll get rain for the south bay. we'll see this out of here fast once we get into friday morning. rainfall totals on this as i talked about would be the highest in the north bay. half to about 3/4 of an inch. san francisco and the east bay on half about 0.5 inch. then the rain shadowing down toward san jose, a little bit of a hole on the rain totals so only trace amounts to about 0.2 inch. as the storm moves in tomorrow slightly warmer air out ahead of it so that is why our morning temperatures won't be as cold as we've been used to. plenty of 40s over the south bay, peninsula, and the tri valley. i t
