here is a look at the warmest temperatures around the bay area tomorrow. san jose southward into morgan hill. upper 60s and low 70s. may see similar conditions around scotts valley heading towards santa cruz. into the north bay, all of this changes rapidly as early as friday. pretty clear to see why on the time line. by friday afternoon shower chances return. we're going back to more typical february weather. the showers will drop down the coast. the time stamp, midnight into early saturday morning. that will be the main impact for showers on your weekend plans mostly for the first half of saturday and then skies will clear out heading into saturday afternoon and evening. the rain totals have come up a little bit. most of what you're seeing a tenth of an inch of rain or less, not a lot, falling friday night to noon. a reason sunday and monday temperatures will take off again. just look at the roller coaster ride we have with these temperatures up tomorrow, down, back up just in time for sunday in napa. a similar trend for your weekend plans. morgan hill and

while most of the bay area lives in the areas not shaded, a lot of people living in the hills and mountains as well as in parts of the north bay are going to see snow coming down at times, and there's the potential that mount hamilton could get over a foot of snow, so definitely do not even try to travel up there. it's going to be very treacherous. we don't want to have to make rescues to people that did not need to be there in the first place. we are going to see this tapering off on saturday for a brief break, but another storm coming in on sunday and another one on monday, and then another one on tuesday. this is going to turn quite busy. it may start to quiet down towards the end of next week, but between now and sunday, we could see over an inch of rain for much of the bay area, and in total, over 2 1/2 inches for a lot of the south bay peninsula as well as the east bay. turning back to very busy and active storm pattern here, we could see all types of precipitation because of how cold it is. we want to you take pictures of it because it may look like snow but it may be graupel. those
