here's the morning fog reading us east bay shoreline also, we have the drought. me out to see the coverage area in terms of exceptional, i'd say about 2 thirds, the bay area is an exceptional category and if not, well, you're an extreme. so has an improved much this week. day forecast does not look like it's going to help with that. but at least we'll get that marine layer. it's a little thicker. not so hot. we'll get some more moisture in the atmosphere kind of moisten up the ground a little bit as well, at least in parts in and around the bay and we don't see can't mechanisms to doing this right now. we're still kind of locked in the same pattern. but this out to the east is going start the weekend and we'll see a system dropping in from the pacific. it's going to stay off to the coast. not really going to do too much for us here. temperature check a 58 per oakland 58 hayward inland so far. well, in the business of the 60's got the lower 60's up north 54 for santa rosa. so we're seeing some of that cool down at night starting to take hold again with this marine

upper 50's line up the east bay shoreline. well inland. to the north bay and 58 san jose, a not real cold cold. but, you know, it's cool. it's definitely feels good to start the day. let's go forward with what we have in the forecast models of all this activity way out to sea here it's the low that here we get the marine layer overnight, but we just don't get much of that impact fee on some patchy drizzle. this will be around for a few days it subsides by the end of the week. we're going to see a little bit of a heat spike going on and what is true to form in the summer in our mountains like that will get the flare up of some thunder showers. this may happen as early as july and into friday problem is this will be thunder showers and that's not always a good thing. is that comes with lightning. so hopefully it'll be a good rain that accompanies that. so douse any possibility of any fires started as we get into early. the following week here. it looks like the pattern starts to dry out there will help temperatures. don't go too crazy on that

look how they're holding nicely on the east bay shoreline somewhat palatable there. as you can see, the 70's couple 80's here and there. but over the east bay hills, it's 94 pittsburgh 96 for concord. the label coming in at 79, 1, 1, for fairfield up in the north bay. we're still in the high 90's in spots there. saint alina coming in at 98 91 from bottom of the way and down south by comparison. san matteo at about 80 so that on shore flow does feel good. one of the reasons why it's not in the heat advisory that was posted for this weekend. this will be around with us until 9 o'clock tonight, the excessive heat warning for solano county. that will be chopped up a little bit. we'll show you 9 o'clock when everything else expires will be left for tomorrow. there's the onshore winds. you can see in the fog we just mentioned it comes in tonight. but some of the coastal clouds mixes out very quickly for tomorrow. so it's more of the same. but everywhere you'll feel a slight bit of relief. now coming up in a bit. we'll show you that relief with the 4 zone forecast. and that
