[ laughs ] >> shepard: g.o.p. presidential candidate rick santorum has more than doubled his fundraising dollars since he won the iowa caucuses, according to a report filed with the federal election commission he raised $4.5 million in jang compared to almost $2 million all of last year. mitt romney still leads the g.o.p. candidates in fundraising, pulling in more than 6.5 million. gingrich's south carolina victory helped generate 5.6 mill and ron paul took in 4.5 mill. none of these totals includes the millions and millions of dollars the superpacs are bringing in. those are the groups that can raise unlimited amounts of money to spend on ad as long as they don't officially coordinate with the campaign. here's the clear politics average of the national polls and look at that. senator santorum is well in the lead and congressman paul is, well, falling way behind. here's the news. live in phoenix this afternoon. the candidates raising money, mitt romney
