i think we will top it out today bayside 80s.s to near 80 on the coast depending on wind direction. the record is 79 in san francisco. today i went 78. again, it is pretty calm. if you can get the west wind, it be close. if the west wind doesn't kick in, they will go over there. look at the record low. 34 back in 1894. don't see that anymore. we do have the fog out there. and water temps are very, very cold. upper 40s, low 50. 48 doe deeing abay. you get that cold nutrient rich water and that is good. but the fog has no problem forming when there are 90s in the valley. but you need more of a west wind. that is not happening yet. fairfield less than 15 won't do it. you need it at 25 to 30. not happening in oakland, sfo or half moon bay. when all three of those calm, that tells you there isn't much there. 50s, 60s and 70s. on the peninsula, we're starting off -- san carlos at 68. hillsborough at 64. belmont 62. look at los altos, 70 degrees. starting to take that turn. see if it will head past point conception up the central califo

bayside in the upper 80s. temperatures are running warmer.mperatures because of the higher clouds that came in overnight, they were volunteer he to cool off for some. oakland has a west breeze. sfo has a west breeze. the fog still has too much resistance. it is out there. and the water temps are exceedingly cold. upper 40s and very low 50s. it just needs a little kick. it will get it tomorrow. what impacts the fog? it is flirt withing that part of the coast. tonight and tomorrow it will have a better opportunity. today it is about sunshine and warmer temps. 50s and 60s closer to the coast and bay. northwest, north, south, west, it's all over the place here. but yesterday it was more north and east. so a subtle change today for maybe a few. but most locations will be warm to hot. by tomorrow, i think we start to bring the fog back to most of the coast. 70s for a few. 80s and 90s for most. this will probably be the hottest day for inland temps much sometimes it takes three and out. that's the rule of thumb on the fog pattern. coast still dealin

we have the areas of fog forming, and warmer inland and along the bayside, upper 50s and low 60s withions in the upper 70s and a few 80s. but look at this fog, some down toward santa cruz and half moon bay has fog as well. otherwise clear skies in the 40s and 50s and woodside at 44 degrees, and pacifica at 47, san carlos at 48 and 47 in sanford. it is cool and that strong low moving into southern california keeping them on the cool side but the rain moving south of san diego. this is impressive for this time of year. that high pressure coming in for two days with another system digging in and a bump up for monday tuesday before get back into the cooler weather, 60s and 70s and a few low 80s today. >>> the solano county commute is where we will start and so far it is not bad driving vacaville to fairfield with a little bit of slowing in vallejo. slowing down on i-80 westbound toward the 13 is bridge and with the interstate getting better by the time you cross the bridge. driving down through the maccarthur maze not a back commute to the bay bridge toll plaza but the metering lights are
